Merit Paper Corporation monitors compliance regarding heavy metals for all U.S. regulations and those of several foreign countries for food contact safety. Compliance testing is done both at the point of manufacture and again when the product is received at our warehouse.
Our Asian factories certify that all components (inks, film, and zipper) comply with the U.S. Food Drug Administration (FDA) code of federal regulations established in 21 CFR 177 1520, 21 CFR 175 105 and 21 CFR 177 1500. Our Asian factories hold certificates and operate quality management systems that complies with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 for manufacturing of printed laminated bags.
